  • Account Executive

    Experience / Qualifications

    Must have professional credentials (e.g., QKA, CEBS, CPA, etc.) and at least seven to ten years of experience with defined contribution qualified plans. Experience should primarily be on the administrative side, as opposed to plan investments. Previous client management responsibility and experience with the ASC system and/or ESOPs would be a plus.

    Job Description

    Full-time position to supervise, coach, and mentor one or two other individuals; manage a block of clients / plans; provide hands-on client service; review work prepared by others; attend client meetings; coordinate with clients' attorneys, CPAs, and payroll vendors; handle consulting and billings; some time may also be spent in networking, general leads, marketing, and preparing proposals. Little or no travel, as most of our clients are in or near Louisville.

    Experience / Qualifications

    Applicant should have a bachelor's degree, excellent attention to detail, organizational, math, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. Prefer someone with background in accounting/finance, but willing to consider a good trainee.

    Full-time work with 401(k) and profit sharing plans. Our Retirement Plan Specialists use analytical, accounting and communication skills to perform tasks such as data analysis, asset reconciliation, report preparation, and other projects for new and existing clients. RMS provides extensive on-the-job training in a friendly team-based approach.
